"Mysterious Vibes" originally appeared on The Blackbyrds LP Action which was released on Fantasy records in 1977 and featured Ray Parker Jr. on Guitar and Ollie Brown on Drums. Over the years the track has been sampled countless times by rap artists most notably by Kurious on "I'm Kurious" and the Almighty RSO for his track "One In The Chamba". Most recently this track was covered by Cro-Magnon on their "Mellow Out & Acoustic EP" on Jazzy Sport Records out of Japan.
